His life philosophy is. ‘’Life is a gift, living is a choice, mediocrity is below the baseline, though my journey may be rough, I am promised, they will see my Lord’s Excellency in me. –Azeez Oluwole’’
In my childhood, I faced adversity and experienced the harsh realities of hunger and poverty. However, amidst these challenges, I was fortunate to have the love and protection of being the youngest in my family. My mother, a hardworking and resourceful woman, became my beacon of strength. Despite limited means, she managed a small business that sustained our family when my father lost his job.
Education was a priority for my mother, and she made tremendous sacrifices to ensure I received a primary education. Growing up, she became not only my mother but also my closest friend. In the solitude of my upbringing, I battled extreme shyness and the weight of low self-esteem, as my family faced stigmatization due to poverty.
At the tender age of five, I vividly recall a moment that would shape my aspirations. My intoxicated aunt warned my cousins not to associate with us, predicting that poverty would infect them. Determined to break free from this cycle, I made a silent vow to myself that by the age of 22, I would be financially secure and never experience poverty again. This ignited a hunger within me to create a better life, not only for myself but also for many others.
My childhood instilled in me an intense aversion to hunger, despite my own struggles with hunger-induced ulcers. As a young boy, I possessed charm, intelligence, and dreams of becoming a pilot or neurosurgeon. However, the financial constraints our family faced shattered those aspirations. Nevertheless, fate intervened when my brother presented an opportunity to join the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). With unwavering support from my uncle, I embraced this path, realizing it was a stepping stone to a fulfilling career.
The resilience and resourcefulness of my mother, the loyalty and integrity of my father, the ingenuity and creativity of my uncle, and the spirituality of my eldest sister all shaped the man I am today. Surrounded by their influence and the strong value system of the Armed Forces, I grew into someone driven by innovation, creativity, and a deep sense of purpose.
Through my personal website, I invite you to explore my journey, where determination and the unwavering support of my family have propelled me forward. It is my hope that my story serves as a testament to resilience, the transformative power of education, and the boundless opportunities that can arise from a steadfast pursuit of one’s dreams. Together, let us inspire and uplift others as we embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.
